What could be less pretentious and un-decorated in feeling than this wonderfully simple, yet imaginative childrens room. The simplicity and exaggerated height of the iron poster beds really make the room. A simple throw rug and a floating coffee table are the only other decorative elements. Of course the wonderful Moroccan door, the ceiling height and the bright red accents make this a very personal space.

A Working Space
I choose this image because it represents a great example of what I call an "Un-Decorated" working space. A Jean Prouve writing desk, Le Corbousier armchair, and scattered books and catalogs on the simple all white built in bookcase. The white silk unlined roman shades, add a soft dressy touch to the space, but they are not perfectly gathered and pleated, they just fall into a natural position when pulled up. Some might call this messy, but I think its sexy. The mix of materials, wood, iron, leather, silk all add to the real warmth, personalized nature of the space.
